Private Instruction

One-on-one fly fishing instruction or fly casting instruction. These lessons will be tailored to the student. Any level from a beginner to a salt water distance caster can be accommodated. Lessons can run from one hour to a half or full day. A price break is given for a series of three or more. Indoor winter casting instruction is available for an additional $10 fee for the rental of the Livingston Civic Center.

Group (2-4 students)

Group instruction is a fun event for a group of friends. This is a popular activity for Tie The Knot. We can schedule hourly, half or full day lessons. I will customize the class to cover what ever needs the group may have. Location is determined by the group. Local ponds, rivers and parks make great classrooms. And plenty of fun lodging options surround Livingston.

Yellowstone Fly Fishing School

My partner, Matt Wilhelm and I had a great year in 2007 and look forward to 2008. If the class dates below do not fit your needs, please contact either Matt or Molly and we can make special arrangements for you.

Classes and Clinics
These classes and clinics will take place in Livingston, Montana. Casting clinics will take place indoors at the Civic Center. Classes will take place both indoors and outdoors. We will fish at a private pond at Nelson’s spring creek. Please call Molly 220-5234 or Matt 223-0918 to sign up.

Casting Clinics
March 1 & 29: Each day we will offer three, one hour, indoor casting clinics for beginners, intermediates and advanced students. $25 for a one hour clinic. Contact Matt or Molly for more detailed information.

April 12: Women’s One Day Fly Fishing School

May 10: Co-Ed One Day Fly Fishing School These all day schools (9-5) include: equipment if needed, flies, handouts, lunch and a private pond fee for fishing. The cost is $175 per school. Contact Matt or Molly for more detailed information.

Fun on the Fly: Learn to Fly Fish
The Yellowstone Fly Fishing Schools’ Molly Semenik and Matt Wilhelm will be teaching in Yellowstone National Park! A 1 ½ day program includes casting instruction, equipment selection, fishing ethics and ecology. Fly rods, flies and waders are included along with overnight lodging at Mammoth and some meals.

July 18-20
August 1-3 & 15-17 (families children 8 and older)
September 5-7 (women only)

Clubs

I will come to you and teach a class for your members. Classes in the past have included an all women's day class for beginners, always a hit. Presentations can also be given, I have programs on fishing the Yellowstone River, the Elk River in British Columbia Canada and Baby Tarpon fishing in Mexico.
